Keyboard set to INTL

The keyboard is likely in International mode.
Type CTRL + Spacebar to switch back to US from INTL keyboard.
NOTE: This is a toggle and will go back and forth between US and INTL keyboards.
UPDATE: If you set the keyboard type on the login screen (as shown above) before you log in, the setting is saved across logins.
