Frequently Asked Question

Before you begin you should get your Lecture Capture Token. To do this follow the steps below.

• Login to http://safari.hart.k12.ga.us
• Click on your name in the upper right corner of the screen. This will take you to the preferences page.
• Scroll to the bottom and click the "Generate" button in the Lecture Capture Token area
• Scroll back to the bottom of the page, select and copy the token that has been generated. You will use this to log into the Lecture Capture software.

If you don't see the Lecture Capture icon in the system tray you will need to launch "Safari Montage Lecture Capture" from your desktop or start menu. Follow the steps below to login and start recording.

• Right-click on the Lecture Capture icon in the system tray (left side of the taskbar).
• Select Login
• Enter safari.hart.k12.ga.us as the hostname
• Enter your token that was previously generated (refer to steps above)
• Select Lecture Capture to record both your classroom camera and desktop together. Select Desktop capture to record just your desktop.
• If you Selected Lecture Capture you will be prompted to select your room and camera view.
• Now you can right-click the system tray icon and select start. The center of the icon will turn red to indicate that you are recording.
• When you are finished recording you can right-click the system tray icon and select stop. The recording will be automatically uploaded to the Safari Montage server.
